For Jira Cloud
Your Jira already knows what went wrong last time.
BugForesight reads the bugs your team has already filed. Open a story and it shows the past bugs from the same area that the story doesn't seem to cover, with a test scenario for each.
- Read-only on Jira
- Runs on Atlassian Forge
- 30-day free trial
The new story also retries failed payments, and it has no rule for duplicate requests.
When the first attempt had already succeeded
Then only one charge or refund is recorded
Same calculation area, and the acceptance criteria don't mention rounding.

How it works
It reads your bug history
After a site admin installs it, BugForesight loads the bugs already in your Jira. Nobody has to import or tag anything.
Open any story
Click the Bug Foresight tab, next to Comments and History. You get a short list of past bugs, the most relevant first.
Cover the gap
Each warning links to the original ticket, says why it matters here, and gives a Given/When/Then scenario to copy into your acceptance criteria.
Built to stay out of your way
Read-only
It never edits, comments on or creates issues. Results show in the tab and nowhere else.
No made-up tickets
Every warning points to a bug that exists on your site, so you can open it and check.
Learns from your votes
Mark each warning Useful or Not useful. Your votes change how it ranks for you next time.
Runs on Atlassian
Built on Forge, so it runs on Atlassian's infrastructure. We run no server that receives your Jira data, and the AI is Claude, hosted by Atlassian.
Trying it
A Jira site admin installs it from the Atlassian Marketplace. There is a 30-day free trial with a small number of AI checks. When the AI checks run out, the tab keeps working with keyword matches from your bug history.
It works best for teams that log their bugs in Jira, have a good number of them, and write clear titles and descriptions.
